Eggs, Biodynamic

The Brambletye fruit farm in Forest Row, East Sussex is home to the Lohman Brown hens, which are allowed to roam freely throughout the orchards. Orchard Eggs is committed to Biodynamic Agriculture, which ensures the highest welfare standards for the birds and promotes a balanced, natural environment. Unlike organic methods, Biodynamic Agriculture goes above and beyond to show respect to the birds and the land, resulting in premium quality eggs.

The chickens are kept in small flocks and housed in movable structures spread across 60 acres of biodynamic orchards. They are raised without the use of antibiotics and are fed 100% locally sourced organic feed with no artificial enhancers. The hens are free to roam 24/7, guided by the cockerels. This promotes natural behaviors and allows them to forage for their food.

Eggs are certified organic by default. During Summer, the eggs are also certified biodynamic.
